This was stated today by SAS Nagar constituency MLA S. Kulwant Singh while distributing sewing machines to Scheduled Caste girls under the government's self-employment scheme.

The constituency MLA said that the government led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has given government jobs to more than 50 thousand youth of Punjab in a transparent manner on the basis of merit and in the coming time more youth of Punjab will be given government jobs. He also said that for the empowerment of women, it is necessary for them to have self-employment so that they can become self-reliant.
On this occasion, Ashish Kathuria, District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer, Atinderpal Singh, Tehsil Social Justice and Empowerment Officer, RP Sharma, Harmesh Singh Kumbara, Ambinder Singh Gausal, Tarlochan Singh Matour, Mandeep Singh Matour and family members of the beneficiary girls who received sewing machines were present.
