Cleanliness campaign conducted in ISBT Una and near Nangal Road Bridge ravine
Una, March 6- Under the Clean City-Prosperous City Campaign in Municipal Corporation Una, on Thursday, with the help of Safai Mitras of Municipal Corporation Una and local residents, cleanliness campaign was conducted in Nangal Road Bridge Khad, Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) Una and Rampur Pul Khad and Ward No. 11.
During this, Safai Mitras collected 45 kg single use polythene and 3 quintals of other garbage. Under this campaign run by the Municipal Corporation, the single use polythene collected will be compressed and sent to the cement plant so that it can be reused.
Cleanliness supervisor Vijay Kumar said that to make Municipal Corporation Una clean and beautiful, the Clean City-Prosperous City Campaign is being continuously accelerated. Under the campaign, women of self-help groups are also going door-to-door giving the message of cleanliness and making people aware about collecting wet and dry garbage separately.
