March 4 Hoshiarpur- The delegation of Labor Party met Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain and congratulated her on coming to Hoshiarpur and Dhiman also assured her of full cooperation and appealed to the government to give all the officers complete freedom to work according to the rules so that every work can be done on the basis of merit and without any recommendation and political interference.
He said that there is a dire need to create self-reliance among the people. Dhiman said that until all the officers do not get complete freedom to work according to the rules and with patience, transparency and honesty can never be created. The time for public dealing should be fixed from 9 am to 1 pm and after this the officers should be given freedom to do the rest of the work.
All the senior officers of Punjab should stop video conferencing in all offices before 1 pm. Only then will the work culture improve. In this regard a letter will be written to the Honorable Chief Secretary Punjab Government so that priority can be given to the work of the people and blind competition among the officers can be stopped so that good decisions can be taken.
Dhiman appealed to the people to come forward to cooperate with the officers without any hesitation and get the work done without their recommendations. Party Vice President Jaswinder Kumar, District Secretary Gurbachan Singh, Harjeet Singh, Rakesh Bala, Balveer Kumar, Tarlok Singh and Surjeet Kumar etc were present on the occasion.
