3 March Jalandhar- Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee, while shedding light on the glorious legacy of Ghadar Party, has said that the patriots of Ghadar raised their voice till the last moment to protect the interests of farmers, labourers and breadwinners. Following the path shown by them, every heir of theirs should continue to perform his duty of raising his voice for agriculture, forest, water and land, fulfilling the interests of domestic and foreign corporate houses, living a life of self-respect and raising his voice for democratic rights. Protecting this legacy, Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee has said that the rejection of the National Agricultural Marketing Policy Framework by the Punjab Assembly has resulted in a partial victory of the struggling farmers. Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee President Ajmer Singh, General Secretary Prithipal Singh Marimegha and Cultural Wing Convenor Amolak Singh have said in a written press statement that it is necessary to raise voice in favour of the Morcha being held in Chandigarh from March 5 on the call of SKM to completely reject the draft of the new agriculture and marketing policy, resolve the pending future agricultural demands of Punjab including legal guarantee of MSP and accept the reasonable demands.
The Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee has said in the resolution passed by the committee's Vice President Kulwant Singh Sandhu, Assistant Secretary Charanji Lal Kangniwal, Finance Secretary Seetal Singh Sangha and all the trustees present in the Trust Board meeting that the claim of the United Front is absolutely true that the AAP government of Punjab has been constantly avoiding implementing the new agricultural policy prepared by itself with the suggestions of the farmers. Similarly, the BJP government at the Center is in a hurry to impose the framework of corporate-friendly National Agricultural Marketing Policy on the heads of the farmers of the entire country, which is more harmful than the three black agricultural laws.
It is continuously avoiding satisfactory solution of other pending demands including legal guarantee of MSP. In the resolution passed, Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee has said that in line with the call of SKM National Committee to take out permanent marches in state capitals across the country from March 5, Chandigarh residents, economists, sociologists, social, literary, cultural, rational, democratic field workers, truck operators, drivers, laborers, shopkeepers and buyers of agricultural products need to join the voice of farmers in support of the 7-day march in Punjab.
Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee has appealed to all the working class and people of Punjab to join the Chandigarh Morcha along with their families.
