Patiala, February 28- The Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Department, under the leadership of District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer Kulwinder Kaur, distributed congratulatory letters worth Rs 51,000 each to 48 beneficiaries of Patiala rural constituency under the Ashirwad scheme as a special initiative for the welfare of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and Minority Classes.

Patiala, February 28- The Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Department, under the leadership of District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer Kulwinder Kaur, distributed congratulatory letters worth Rs 51,000 each to 48 beneficiaries of Patiala rural constituency under the Ashirwad scheme as a special initiative for the welfare of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and Minority Classes.
During this, social worker Advocate Rahul Singh, Councilor Jasvir Singh Gandhi, District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer Kulwinder Kaur distributed congratulatory letters under the Ashirwad scheme of the Punjab Government. The speakers said that under the Ashirwad scheme being run by the Punjab Government, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes should take maximum advantage of this scheme.
During the function, District Manager Scheduled Castes Manju Bala elaborately highlighted the various schemes being run by the department. She also made the people of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes aware about the upliftment in social life and protection of their constitutional rights.
On this occasion, Senior Deputy Mayor Harinder Kohli, Deputy Mayor Jagdeep Singh Jagga, Aam Aadmi Party Secretary Jai Sharma, Tehsil Welfare Officer Gurmeet Singh, Master Manjit Singh, Media Advisor Gajan Singh and officers of various departments were also present.
