PRTC bus thief arrested: SSP.

Paigam-E-Jagat/Maur Mandi- SSP Bathinda Madam Amneet Kondal said that a case of PRTC bus theft had come to light in Maur recently. After a thorough investigation by the police, Amaninder Singh alias Lambu, son of Balvir Singh, resident of Asa Patti, Maur Mandi, age 38, has been arrested on suspicion.

After a thorough investigation by the police, Amaninder Singh alias Lambu, son of Balvir Singh, resident of Asa Patti, Maur Mandi, age 38, has been arrested on suspicion.
Giving further information in this regard, SSP Madam Amneet Kondal said that teams from Maur police station and CIA Staff 2 Bathinda were appointed to investigate the PRTC bus theft case registered in Maur police station. The teams examined the CCTV footage and further investigated through other technical and human resources.
She said that some keys, which were similar to the PRTC keys, and a small knife were also recovered from the possession of the said person. Bathinda Police is continuing its further action and has strongly appealed to the general public to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police station or call 112 so that law and order can be maintained in the city.
