Nawanshahr 26 February- Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society has started the fifth free batch to provide instant training to the youth at the Guru Nanak Mission Coaching Center run by the local Khalsa School to prepare for the police recruitment exam and other government jobs to be held in the next two months. This project was started last year under the supervision of Didar Singh Gahun, retired DSP and Parminder Singh Kanwal, in which till now more than a hundred children have tried their luck in various exams after receiving coaching.
The society started today's batch by offering prayers at the feet of Akal Purakh Waheguru. On this occasion, the chief sevadar of the society, Surjit Singh, while addressing the students, said that although today the trend of going abroad to get employment has increased a lot among the children, but the condition of those who have gone abroad is quite worrying. Due to not getting work, they are becoming victims of depression and have to go through bad conditions, about which they are already worried and cannot share all this with their families.
He said that today children coming from other states are serving in high positions in Punjab, then why can't Punjabis do all this? He said that the sole purpose of starting this coaching center by the society is to boost the morale of Punjabi children, so that the children can secure their future.
He appealed to the young children to remain disciplined and take maximum benefit of this free coaching class. He said that the happiness of the children who are successful in getting government jobs after coaching will be much more than the happiness of the organizers, who have been given power by God to serve under this mission.
On this occasion, Didar Singh said that this time highly educated and experienced teachers have been arranged to give coaching to the class. Books and all kinds of facilities for the children will also be provided free of cost by the society. He said that so far about 27 students have been registered and more children can join in a day or two.
On this occasion, among others, class incharge Parminder Singh, class teacher Jagdish ji, Tarlochan Singh Khatkar Kalan, Jagdeep Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Daljit Singh Kariha, Bakshish Singh, Manmohan Singh, Paramjit Singh and Jagjit Singh were also present.
