Una, February 25- As per the guidelines of SDM Haroli, an awareness program on road safety and drug abuse was organized at the Block Development Officer office Haroli.
The program was chaired by BDO Haroli Rajeshwar Kaundal. CDPO Haroli Shiv Singh Verma along with officers and employees of Women and Child Development and Rural Development Department participated in the awareness program.
BDO Haroli informed the officers and employees present in the awareness program about following road safety rules and the dangers caused by drug abuse.
He said that safety and drug abuse can cause serious danger to the society. It is the social responsibility of all of us to make our society safe and healthy by spreading awareness about these problems, and we all have to discharge this responsibility.
He emphasized on wearing helmets, seat belts and following the speed limit to avoid road accidents. Along with this, detailed information was also given about the mental, physical and social problems caused by drug abuse.
