
International Mother Language Day was celebrated in Khalsa College Dumeli.
24 February Hoshiarpur- International Mother Language Day was celebrated in Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Dumeli, an educational institution running under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. On this occasion, Punjabi Department Head Madam Kamaljit Kaur asked the students to maintain the respect of their mother tongue and also taught them to respect the mother tongue of others.

College Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur explained the importance of mother tongue to the students by quoting Rasool Hamzatov's world famous book 'Mera Dagistan'. Along with this, Madam Romi and the students also recited poems of love for the Punjabi language. On this occasion, all the staff members and students of the college were present.
