20 February Hoshiarpur - MLA from Chabbewal Assembly constituency Dr. Ishan Kumar released a grant of 10 lakh 30 thousand rupees for the construction of new boundary wall and building renovation of Government Primary School Tohlian. The MLA started the work by laying the foundation stone of the boundary wall.
On this occasion, Dr. Ishan said that his government is trying to strengthen the infrastructure of schools and provide better facilities in the field of education. He said, "Our priority is to modernize government schools and students should get quality education. Development of society and country is possible only with good quality education."
He said that the number of children in government schools in villages is increasing, so it is very important to strengthen the infrastructure of schools. Along with the construction of school buildings, teachers and parents will also have to play an active role in increasing the quality of education. He said, “The aim of the government is not only to construct buildings but also to take steps to ensure a bright future for the children studying in them.”
Deputy District Education Officer (Primary Education) Sukhwinder Singh, District Coordinator Smart Classroom Rajneesh Kumar, District Smart Classroom Coordinator Satish Kumar, Junior Engineer Narinder Singh, Head Teacher Inderjit Singh, Sarpanch Maninder Singh, former Panch Mahinder Pal, President Vikas Sharma, Master Teja Singh, Panch Inderjit, Panch Ritu Sharma and Jasvir Singh along with other dignitaries were present at the event.
