Nawanshahr - District Legal Services Authority under the direction of Honorable District and Sessions Judge cum Chairman District Legal Services Authority Priya Sood at Nawanshahr and Dr. Amandeep CJM cum Secretary District Legal Services Authority under the guidance of Para Legal Volunteers Vasdev Pardesi and Des Raj Bali organized a seminar on the occasion of International Senior Citizens Day.
During which para legal volunteer Des Raj Bali gave information about the maintenance and upbringing and welfare of parents and senior citizens. That under this Act, the Parenting Tribunal directs the children to pay a maximum of ten thousand per month to their parents. On this occasion, Vasdev Pardesi said that any senior citizen can avail the services of a lawyer for free.
