Una, February 17- Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal inspected the Drug Prevention and Rehabilitation Center located at Ghaluwal on Monday. During this, he evaluated the treatment related facilities and arrangements available at the drug prevention center on the basis of national standards.
The Deputy Commissioner took information about the facilities of personal counseling, yoga, exercise, essential medicines as well as food arrangements being given at the rehabilitation center. He also met the people undergoing treatment there and took feedback on the facilities being provided to get rid of addiction and the positive changes coming in their lives.
The Deputy Commissioner said that this drug prevention center is being run by Gunjan Sanstha, where currently 13 boys are being treated. He motivated the boys undergoing treatment and boosted their morale and said that it is possible to quit addiction with timely treatment. He said that with strong mental power, effective treatment and positive environment, one can get rid of addiction quickly.
On this occasion, District Red Cross Society Secretary and Credit Planning Officer Una Sanjay Sankhyan along with representatives of Gunjan Sanstha were present.
