
District Magistrate will take legal action against those violating the ban on public display of weapons
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, February 15: District Magistrate Ashika Jain has imposed a complete ban on public display of weapons in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district, exercising the powers conferred under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Act-2023 to maintain law and order in the district.

Along with this, there will also be a complete ban on songs glorifying weapons or violence. Apart from this, there will be a complete ban on carrying and displaying weapons in public functions, religious places, wedding ceremonies or other functions and a ban will also be imposed on giving speeches spreading hatred against any community.
The District Magistrate said that if any common and special person is found violating these orders, appropriate legal action will be taken against him. These orders will be effective from 11 February 2025 to 10 April 2025.
