Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, February 14: For the smooth conduct of the CBSE Board examinations to be held in the district from 15.02.2025 to 04.04.2025, Section 163 of the BNSS has been imposed around the examination center and along with this, necessary instructions have been issued to the Senior Superintendent of Police to take legal action against the disruptive elements, maintain smooth traffic flow and make proper arrangements.
District Magistrate Mrs. Ashika Jain has issued orders prohibiting the assembly of 5 or more persons within 100 meters of the examination centers in exercise of powers vested in her under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Code-2023.
She said that these orders are applicable to Gyan Jyoti Global School Phase 11 Mohali, Shri Sukhmani International School Derabassi, S.T. Soldier INT Convent School, Phase 7, Sant Ishar Singh Public School Phase 7 Mohali, Lawrence Public Senior Secondary School Sector 51, Guru Nanak Foundation Public School, Village Chaparchiri, Dikshant International School Zirakpur, S.T. Atri Public School Lalru Mandi, Guru Gobind Singh Vidya Mandir Ratwara Sahib, Manav Mangal Smart School, Sector 64 Phase 9, Anees School Shivjot Enclave, Kharar Mohali, NRI Public School Mubarakpur Barwala Derabassi, Paragon Senior Secondary School Sector 69 Mohali, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Zirakpur will be applicable around.
He said that these orders will not be applicable to government staff posted on duty and examinees appearing for exams. These orders will be applicable within the limits of the examination centers in the district from 15.02.2025 to 04.04.2025.
