Nawanshahr- Selection trials are being conducted in various districts for the admission of players of residential wing for 13 Centers of Excellence established in PIS during the year 2025-26. Giving information in this regard, District Sports Officer Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Vandana Chauhan said that trials for volleyball (boys) age group 14, 17 and 19 will be conducted on 13 February 2025 in village Tappariyan of Block Balachaur of District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
Giving information about the eligibility and conditions of the players for these trials, he said that the players participating in the trials will report at the designated place at 8.30 am. He said that the participating players should bring with them proof of being a resident of Punjab state like Aadhar card, voter card, birth certificate and two passport size photographs.
He said that no TA/DA will be given to the players taking part in the trials and he appealed to the players to participate enthusiastically in these trials.
