
Registration of Play Way and Pre-Nursery Schools Mandatory - Deputy Commissioner
Nawanshahr- According to the instructions issued by the Director, Social Security, Women and Child Development Department Punjab, as per the notification issued by the Punjab Government for the all-round development of children aged 3 to 6 years, registration of private play way schools running in the district is to be done under the 'Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme'.

Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman said that it is mandatory for private institutions in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, which are working or want to work in the field of 'Early Childhood Care and Education / Play Way School' for children aged three to six years, to get registered. He appealed to the managers of all pre-nursery and play way schools to get application form number-1 from the office of the District Program Officer to get their schools registered.
He said that if any problem arises during registration, then coordination can be established immediately at the District Program Officer Office, Room No. 308, 2nd Floor, District Administrative Complex (DC Office) and for more information, contact the District Child Protection Officer on contact numbers 01823-222322 and 01823-281798.
He said that all the private schools/institutions/play way schools running under the district which work for children between three to six years of age, are required to fulfill the criteria given by the government. Therefore, the administrators of the play way schools should coordinate with the District Program Office as soon as possible and get their schools registered.
