Grand inauguration to be held on April 27, administration speeds up preparations
Una, March 26- The much-awaited state level Haroli Utsav-2025 will be held this year from April 27 to 29 at Kangar Ground in Haroli Assembly constituency. Auditions of local artists will be held at Lata Mangeshkar Kala Kendra, Samur Kalan from April 8 to 10 for the cultural evenings of this grand event. Auditions will start from 11 am on April 8. Auditions have been scheduled for artists of Una district on April 8 and 9 and for participants from other districts on April 10.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that artists can apply at SDM office, Haroli or send applications on email 'State Level Haroli Utsav at the rate Gmail dot com'. Interested artists can also submit applications on the spot on the day of audition. Renowned artists and winners of national level competitions will be exempted from audition. He said that in this festival, there will be special emphasis on providing maximum opportunities to Himachali artists.

Preparations for memorable event intensified

This festival will not only provide new energy to our cultural and traditional heritage, but will also play an important role in the preservation and promotion of the rich cultural heritage of the Haroli region.

Will be inaugurated with a grand procession
Jatin Lal said that the festival will start with a grand procession on April 27. During the three-day event, on April 27, 28 and 29, famous artists of Himachal along with national level eminent personalities will perform on stage in cultural evenings. During the day, there will be colorful performances of local educational institutions and cultural groups.

Trade fair and sports competitions will be the center of attraction
The Deputy Commissioner said that during the festival, a month-long trade fair will also be organized at Kangra Maidan, in which self-help groups and business institutions will get an opportunity to display their products. This fair will be a special center of attraction with the aim of promoting local entrepreneurship and business.
Apart from this, various sports competitions will be organized to keep the youth away from drugs and connect them with positive activities. Adventure sports will also be promoted along with mainly wrestling and kabaddi competitions, which will include other exciting activities including hot air ballooning.

The festival will be decorated with various events
An animal fair, dog show and baby show will also be organized in this festival. Development exhibition will also be organized by various departments to showcase government schemes and achievements.
