Nawanshahr- Daily Morning Football Club Nawanshahr organised a football match at the ground of R.K. Aryan College Nawanshahr to celebrate new ground on Basant Panchami today. This match was organised under the leadership of Daily Morning Football Club Nawanshahr's NRI hero and star player Sukhwinder Singh Sukha.
Giving information in this regard, the club's chairman Tarsem Lal, Deputy Group Education and Information Officer, said that our Daily Morning Football Club organises football matches on the occasion of celebrating any auspicious day, so that our young generation can stay away from drugs and join sports. He said that our Daily Morning Football Club players often used to play at the ground of R.K. Aryan College, so when the cricket match was going on, we had to leave the game many times.
That is why RK Arya College Principal Puneet Aneja, Vinod Bhardwaj and his management committee and Nawanshahr Cricket Association decided to give a separate football ground to Daily Morning Football Club Nawanshahr, which will be maintained by the football club itself. Therefore, today on Basant Panchami, Daily Morning Football Club organized a football match to celebrate the new ground. This match was played between the teams of Avtar Singh XI and Mukhtiar Rai XI.
In the first half, Mukhtiar Rai XI team players Mohit Kataria, Tarsem Lal, Sarabjit Singh, Vicky Guru Pushkar scored one ball each, Tarsem Lal cut a ball and found Mukhtiar Rai, who scored a goal with a very good shot. After this, in the second half, Avtar Singh XI team players Minta Gujrapuriya, Ajay Mehra, Sukhwinder Sukha, Sukhmeet Bajwa and Gore showed good game and played shots by passing back and forth and shooting, but due to the good defense of Tarsem Lal and Sarabjit Singh, no one could score a goal. At the same time Mukhtiyar Rai XI scored another goal. With this the match ended.
Thus, the team of Mukhtiyar Rai XI won the match organized on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami by 2-0 in the joy of getting a new ground. Players of all the clubs congratulated each other in the joy of getting a new ground and President Ajay Mehra gave refreshments to both the teams. Tarsem Lal said that if the college management, NRIs and donors keep cooperating like this, then our Daily Morning Football Club Nawanshahr will definitely make a football academy in Nawanshahr one day.
