Nawanshahr-A blood donation camp was organized on the occasion of the death anniversary of Sant Baba Joginder Singh at Gurdwara Akal Bunga Santan Di Kutia in Alachor, a village near Nawanshahr. Giving information in this regard, Prerak Des Raj Bali said that 51 blood donors donated blood during the camp organized by the team of Nawanshahr Blood Center.
All the blood donors were honored with special gifts by the family of Ravinder Singh Ricky, son of Mahinder Singh Yoddha, a resident of Italy. During this camp organized under the leadership of Dr. Ajay Bagga of Blood Center Nawanshahr, enthusiasm was seen among the youth to donate blood. Addressing, Dr. Bagga said that the habit of blood donation among the youth is a sign of a good future.
He said that donating blood does not cause any kind of weakness in the body, rather many essential tests are done free of cost for the health of the body. Any healthy person between the age of 18 to 65 years can participate in the service of humanity by donating blood. During this camp, many youths donated blood for the first time due to the inspiration of Akarsh Bali.
