Garhshankar- Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab, under the leadership of Founder Chairman Satish Kumar Soni felicitated Banga family of Garhshankar on the occasion of their daughter's Lohri. On this occasion, Chief Spokesperson of Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab, Prof. Jagdish Rai said that today daughters are making their own identity in the society and are making their presence felt in every field. He said that celebrating the Lohri of their daughter Harsimran Kaur and dedicating her birthday to the Prakashotsav of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji is a very commendable step by Bhupinder Singh Banga and Kiran Bala Banga. Founder Chairman of the Society Satish Kumar Soni said that we should make our daughters and sons internally strong.
Today our children are not strong enough to face the struggles of their life in the coming times. Today parents have a lot of expectations from their children. While facing which they get trapped in the wrong company. We all should make our children strong. On this occasion District President of Hoshiarpur Jaspreet Kaur thanked the society members and audience and motivated them to make their lives better by taking guidance from the teachings of Guru Ravidas Ji. 
On this occasion the family organized Sri Sukhmani Paath in the morning to celebrate the birthday of their daughter and a langar of tea and Kadaah Prasad was organized for the morning journey dedicated to the Prakashotsav of Guru Sahib Ji. Ram Murti Jadla, Santosh Kumari, Amandeep Singh, Manjit Kaur, Amarjit Singh, Sonu Heer, Tarlok Singh, Dr. BS Badhan, Sardar Mahinder Singh, Harpreet Kaur Banga, Kamlesh Chawla, Som Nath Bangar and committee members of Sri Guru Ravidas Gurdwara Ghati Wala besides other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
