Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar/Boothgarh, February 27: Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain visited the local Primary Health Center and took stock of the facilities and arrangements being provided to the people at the health center. The Civil Surgeon also inspected the availability of medicines and medical equipment given free of cost to the patients.
She instructed the health officials that every essential medicine prescribed by the doctor should be available inside the hospital and if any medicine is available at a private shop outside, then it is the responsibility of the hospital in-charge to provide the concerned medicine to the patient. Dr. Jain inspected the cleanliness of the hospital while visiting various wards of the hospital and instructed that the entire hospital should be kept completely clean so that a good environment can be provided to the patients.
She interacted with the patients present in the hospital and enquired about their well-being. The Civil Surgeon instructed that good health facilities should be provided to the people coming to the health institutions and the patients should not face any kind of problem. Dr. Jain urged for more effective implementation of state and national health programs and schemes.
He said that people should get the benefit of the facilities provided by the government under all circumstances and no negligence should be done in this matter. During this, he also checked the attendance register and instructed that attendance should be ensured at the prescribed time of coming and going to the office.
