Garhshankar 24 January- While preparations and processions are being taken out with great enthusiasm all over the world for the Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, the 648th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji is being celebrated in village Rampur (Bilro) under Garhshankar on Wednesday, 12th February with the cooperation of Shri Guru Ravidas Welfare Society (Regd.), city residents and NRIs.
Giving information in this regard, the committee members said that a grand Nagar Kirtan will be taken out on Sunday, 9th February at 10 am. This grand Nagar Kirtan will start from Guru Ghar and will pass through Bilro, Salempur, Satnor, Badesaro, Goliyan, Bhajjal, Parowal, Sadhowal, Pukhowal, Hajipur villages and will conclude back at Guru Ghar Rampur Bilro.
In this Nagar Kirtan, the Kirtan Jatha Bhai Kulwant Singh Lalliyan will connect the Sangat with Gurbani thoughts. Thus, on Monday 10th February, Sri Akhand Path Sahib will be started and Nishan Sahib will be offered. On Wednesday 12th February, Sri Akhand Path Sahib will be offered at 11am. Bhai Kulwant Singh Lallian Wale will entertain the Sangat with his Kirtan till 1pm. After the Kirtan, Guru ka Langar will be served.
On Friday 14th February, from 7pm to 10pm, Baba Surjit Singh Khalsa (Heera Wale)'s Kirtan Jatha will entertain the Sangat through Kirtan. In the end, he said that if anyone makes any kind of noise during Nagar Kirtan and inside the Guru Ghar, it will not be tolerated and the entire Sangat will have to come with their heads covered.
