
Pending cases should be given priority by speeding up recovery cases - Deputy Commissioner
Hoshiarpur - Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal held a monthly review meeting with the officers of the Revenue Department at the District Administrative Complex today and discussed in detail various issues related to revenue work. Emphasizing on speeding up recovery cases, the Deputy Commissioner said that a list of defaulters should be prepared and action should be taken within the stipulated time. He clarified that pending recovery in revenue matters should be given priority.

Emphasizing on speeding up recovery cases, the Deputy Commissioner said that a list of defaulters should be prepared and action should be taken within the stipulated time. He directed all Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars to settle pending cases in revenue courts at the earliest. Transparency and timeliness should be ensured in the settlement of cases. He ordered to identify the pending amount related to land recovery and expedite the action. He directed to review the status of pending honorarium of Chowkidars and Numberdars and complete it as soon as possible.
Komal Mittal asked the SDM to settle the pending cases under the PP Act as soon as possible. During this, he asked the officers to settle the pending complaints on the PGRS portal in a timely manner. The Deputy Commissioner said that to bring transparency and speed in administrative work, it is necessary that all the officers complete their work on priority basis. Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahul Chaba, SDM Sanjeev Kumar, SDM Mukerian Kanwaljit Singh, SDM Tanda Pankaj Bansal and other officers were also present on this occasion.
