Nawanshahr- An emergency meeting of Nawanshahr Punjab Sahitya Sabha Regd. Nawanshahr was held in the office of Arora Sabha under the chairmanship of the society's president Darshan Dardi. During the meeting, some new appointments were made, in which Manmohan Singh Gulati was appointed chairman, Dr. Malkit Jandi as vice-president, Poonam Bala as joint secretary.
While conducting the meeting, General Secretary Tarsem Saki said that the society will organize a literary gathering next month, in which awareness seminars and Kavi Darbar will be organized for the promotion of Punjabi mother tongue.
On this occasion, Darshan Dardi President, Tarsem Saki General Secretary, Des Raj Bali Secretary, Manmohan Singh Gulati Chairman, Poonam Bala, Shama Malhan, Vasdev Pardesi Press Secretary, Dr. Malkit Jandi, Advocate Jaspreet Singh Bajwa, Veena Sharma, Jai Dev Goga etc. were present.
