
Eye checkup and free cataract operation camp will be organized on 22nd at Jeevan Jot Bhawan, Garhdiwala

Rana Ji, founder of Jeevan Jot Bhawan, Dana Mandi Road, Garhdiwala. Discussions were held with him regarding organizing a medical camp.

On this occasion, Saint S.K. Rana Ji informed that a free eye checkup and cataract operation camp is being organized for patients in the Bhawan on Wednesday, 22 January, with the cooperation of Shankara Hospital, Ludhiana and Rotary Eye Bank. On this occasion, he appealed to the devotees to come in large numbers and take advantage of this camp.
On this occasion, Chairman Sanjeev Arora gave detailed information about the eye donation work being done by the society and said that Rotary Eye Bank has provided light to more than 4100 people living in darkness so far and the society has sent the after death bodies of 25 people to the medical college for research. Arora further said that while coming to the camp, the patients should bring their voter card, copy of Aadhar card and 2 mobile numbers with them so that there is no problem of any kind.
He said that during the camp, forms for after death eye donation will also be filled and those who are suffering from corneal blindness will be checked up and those who need new eyes will be given new eyes free of cost by the society so that they can also see this world. On this occasion, Chairman J.B. Bahl said that Shankara Eye Hospital is giving commendable support to remove corneal blindness.
He said that the society is organizing special seminars and camps from time to time for the people suffering from corneal blindness in cities, towns and now even in villages. Senior members of the society Raminder Singh and Madan Lal Mahajan were also present on this occasion.
