Una, January 16- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will be the chief guest at the district level Republic Day celebrations in Una. He will hoist the national flag at a function organized in the premises of Government Senior Secondary School Una on January 26. Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that the Deputy Chief Minister will pay tribute at the Shahid Smarak located at MC Park on 26 January at 10.40 am. After this, the national flag will be hoisted in the school premises at 10.55 am. After the flag hoisting, the Deputy Chief Minister will inspect the parade, take the salute of the march past and address the district residents. Along with the police and home guard contingents, students of NCC and NSS will also participate in the parade. Children from various educational institutions of the district and drama troupes will give cultural presentations in the function. In case of rain, alternative arrangements have been ensured in the Town Hall for the function. Additional Deputy Commissioner said that tableaux based on various development schemes of the state government will also be presented in the function. These will include tableaux related to Mukhyamantri Sukh Ashray Yojana, Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana, Indira Gandhi Sukh Shiksha Yojana, Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Student Loan Scheme, health, agriculture, horticulture and tourism development. The Deputy Chief Minister will also honour officers and employees of various departments who have done excellent work related to public service in the function.
