Patiala, January 5 - Sports Branch of School Education Department Punjab and Office of District Education Officer Secondary Education in collaboration with the Government Multi-Purpose Senior Competition for the 67th National School Games 2023-24 Basketball Boys Under-19 Teams under the auspices of School Games Federation of India. Secondary School High Branch Punjabi Bagh Patiala is starting from January 6.
   Giving information regarding this, Harinder Kaur, District Education Officer, Secondary Education, Patiala, said that on January 6, Dr. Balbir Singh, Minister of Health Punjab, will inaugurate the games. Teams from various states and Union Territories of India are participating on this occasion. During the opening ceremony of the 67th National School Games, a march past will be held by sportspersons and Punjabi folk dance Giddha and Bhangra will be presented by the schools of Patiala to showcase Punjabi culture. He said that proper arrangements have been made for the preparation of these games.
   On this occasion, Dr. Ravinder Pal Singh, Deputy District Education Officer, Secondary Education, Patiala, Daljit Singh, Sports Officer, Narinder Singh and member teachers of various committees were also present.
