Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 09, 2025: Exercising the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of M/s Victor Immigration and Study Abroad firm.
Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke informed that M/s Victor Immigration and Study Abroad firm SCO No. 121, 1st Floor, Phase-3-B-2, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar owner Mrs. Khyati P. Ghai (Proprietor) wife Pushpak Ghai resident Flat No. 101, 10th Floor, Homeland Heights, Tower-5, Sector-70, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar was issued license No. 269/IC dated 05-02-2019 to carry out consultancy work. The validity of this license has expired on 04.02.2024.
The owner of the firm has informed the office through email that due to financial constraints caused by COVID-19, they have decided to close their office. In this regard, he was asked about the action to be taken by him regarding surrender of consultancy license No. 269/IC. Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that due to non-receipt of registered letter of office and residential address, non-submission of monthly report by the licensee as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, non-renewal of license, non-response/clarification to the notice, non-compliance of the provisions of the license, the firm and the licensee have violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012.
Therefore, in view of the above facts, exercising the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the license No. 269/IC dated 05-02-2019 issued to M/s Victor Immigration and Study Abroad firm has been cancelled/cancelled with immediate effect. Further, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee shall be responsible for the same in every respect and shall also be responsible for the compensation thereof.
