DC Ashika Jain visits Purab Premium Apartments

S A S Nagar, January 08, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today visited Purab Premium Apartments in Mohali and reviewed the flats purchased by Bhagwant Mann Government for accommodation of officers and staff. Giving details after taking stock of the houses which will be handed over to the district administration by the state government soon, she said that around 167, Type 3 and Type 2 flats have been purchased by the Punjab government from Greater Mohali Area Development Authority in the past few days.

S A S Nagar, January 08, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today visited Purab Premium Apartments in Mohali and reviewed the flats purchased by Bhagwant Mann Government for accommodation of officers and staff. Giving details after taking stock of the houses which will be handed over to the district administration by the state government soon, she said that around 167, Type 3 and Type 2 flats have been purchased by the Punjab government from Greater Mohali Area Development Authority in the past few days.
She said that the visit was made today along with a team of administrative and PWD officials to check the status of these flats and the PWD officials were asked to check all the requirements as per the demand of government accommodations. The PWD team comprised officials from civil and electrical wing besides water supply and sanitation officials. The Deputy Commissioner said that this was a long-standing demand of the officers and staff of Mohali, which will be fulfilled soon on the initiative of the Punjab government.

He said applications have been sought from district officers and employees so that their applications can be considered as per the house allotment norms of the state government. Apart from district officers, some flats will also be allotted to the officers by the General Administration Department of the Punjab government. He was accompanied by ADC Viraj S Tidke, SDM Damandeep Kaur, AC (J) Dr Ankita Kansal.
