Sahitya Kala Evam Sanskritik Manch in collaboration with Central Punjabi Writers Association released Jagdish Rana's book

Jalandhar- Sahitya Kala Evam Sanskritik Manch (Regd.) in collaboration with Central Punjabi Writers Association Sekhon Regd. released the book Zindagi Da Manch (Selected Poems of Savinder Sandhu) edited by Jagdish Rana at Punjab Press Club Jalandhar yesterday and organized a Kavi Darbar dedicated to the memory of Ustad Shayar Gurdeep Singh Aulakh.

Jalandhar- Sahitya Kala Evam Sanskritik Manch (Regd.) in collaboration with Central Punjabi Writers Association Sekhon Regd. released the book Zindagi Da Manch (Selected Poems of Savinder Sandhu) edited by Jagdish Rana at Punjab Press Club Jalandhar yesterday and organized a Kavi Darbar dedicated to the memory of Ustad Shayar Gurdeep Singh Aulakh.
The program was presided over by Pawan Harchandpuri, President of Central Punjabi Writers Association Sekhon, Public Secretary Prof. Sandhu Wariyanvi, Vice President and former Director of National Book Trust India Dr. Baldev Badhan, Principal and poet Navtej Garhdiwala, District Jalandhar President Dr. Kanwal Bhalla, poet Savinder Sandhu and famous Ghazal writer Gurdeep Singh Saini. At the beginning of the program, two minutes silence was observed in the memory of Ustad Shayar Gurdeep Singh Aulakh, who passed away a few days ago.
Dr. Baldev Singh Badhan and Charanjit Gill Samalsar read impressive pamphlets about the book Zindagi Da Manch in detail. Central Punjabi Lekhak Sabha Sekhon President Pawan Harchandpuri said that writers should write more on public issues and along with Ghazals, they should also write literary songs and verses. Public Secretary Prof. Sandhu Varyanvi said that Sahitya Kala and Sabha Manch have a big role in the literary activities of Jalandhar.
Manch President Dr. Kanwal Bhalla and Manch Treasurer Tajinder Manchanda, son of founder President Ustad Shayar Late Rajinder Pardesi said that the purpose of the Manch is to promote old poems as well as new poems. Jagdish Rana, who was conducting the Manch, recited his selected poems in between.
During this occasion, more than three dozen poets including Makhan Singh Maan, Dr. Ram Murti, Sant Singh Sandhu, Gulzar Singh Shawki, Nahar Singh Mubarakpuri, Harbans Singh Aks, Manjit Singh, Madhavi Agarwal Mala, Soma Sablok, Dharamvir Sagar, K Sadhu Singh, Kimti Qaiser, Jarnail Sakhi, Sham Sargundi, Sohan Sahjal, Manoj Phagwarvi, Sahiba Jeevan Kaur, Jaswinder Singh Jassi, Jaswinder Phagwara, Balbir Kaur Babbu Saini, Hardayal Hoshiarpuri, Sukhdev Gandhwan, Harjinder Jindi, Kulwinder Gakhal, Ritu Kalsi, Kulwinder Singh Baghapurana, Amar Singh Amar, Noor Kamal, Deep Jagatpuri, Dilbahar Shaukat etc added colour to the occasion with their creations in the Kavi Darbar organized on this occasion.
On this occasion, Editor of Ranjit Magazine, Engr. Karamjit Singh, Gurcharan Singh Cheema, storyteller Bhupinder Ustad, Avtar Samalsar, Colonel Jagbir Singh Sandhu, Navdeep Kaur, Geeta Verma, Basant Kumar Sayyad, Rohit Sidhu, singer Balwinder Dildar, Ramnik Singh Ghuman, Nagina Singh Balghan, Urmiljit Singh, Seerat Sikhyarthi, novelist Gurnam Bawa and others were present.
