
Meeting on security coordination held at Indian Oil Terminal Pekhubela
Una, January 6- A security coordination meeting was held at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Una Terminal on Monday under the chairmanship of SDM Una Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the security arrangements of Una Terminal and to take necessary steps to further strengthen the security measures.
Una, January 6- A security coordination meeting was held at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Una Terminal on Monday under the chairmanship of SDM Una Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the security arrangements of Una Terminal and to take necessary steps to further strengthen the security measures.
In the meeting, the SDM stressed on strong coordination between the district administration and the terminal in implementing security measures. He said that to keep Una terminal safe from drone activities, coordination should be established with the concerned officials and the local people should be made aware through signage and awareness campaigns.
He said that the Indian Oil terminal will be jointly inspected by the local administration and the terminal management and a meeting will be held in the next three months to review the security measures. He also directed to submit the necessary documents soon to obtain approval from the Deputy Commissioner for the formation of a security committee.
Apart from this, it was also decided in the meeting that Una Terminal will be declared a no drone fly zone.
During this, Terminal Deputy General Manager SK Singh gave information on the current security arrangements such as access control, CCTV coverage and emergency response protocol. Along with this, the IB in-charge highlighted the potential threats including unauthorized drone activities.
On this occasion SHO Mehtpur Mast Ram Nayak, IB Incharge Una Jaswinder Singh, Senior Manager IOC Dinesh Rana and all the representatives of the terminal management were present.
