Garhshankar, January 4- Former BJP Rajya Sabha member Avinash Rai Khanna held a meeting with BJP workers of Beet area to make people aware against cyber crime. Talking to reporters in village Haibowal Beet, Khanna said that awareness against cyber crime is the need of the hour. Today is the age of internet and without internet it is difficult to do everyday important work.
Man has progressed in technology, but cyber criminals always have the power to cheat people through the internet. These criminals are trying to cause you financial loss by luring you or giving your personal information, we should use online facilities like a responsible citizen. Never pick up unnecessary phone calls or fake calls and do not give your personal information like your name, Aadhaar number, bank account number, your address or any other information to anyone on social media or phone.
Khanna said that if any person pretending to be a bank employee asks for your personal information on the phone or asks you to download any application on your mobile or log in to any website, then immediately be alert and instead of doing so, go to the concerned office and talk. On this occasion, the workers told Khanna that they have received calls from unknown numbers many times who have asked them for their personal information or have asked them to download any app on their phone by luring them with money.
Khanna told the workers that they should themselves go among the people and create awareness against cyber crime so that people can safely take advantage of modernity, technology and progress. Pradeep Rangeela, Billa Kambala, Alok Rana, Satpal Dhiman, Bhajan Singh, Shashi Khanna, Dharampal Bhardwaj, Gurudutt Bhardwaj, Naresh Rana etc. were also present on this occasion.
