
Principal of Sikh National College Banga Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder felicitated Dr. Bakshish Singh

Nawanshahr/Banga- The seven-day camp organized by the NSS department of Sikh National College Banga concluded successfully on 29 December 2024. Dr. Bakshish Singh was present as the chief guest in the last session of the camp. This session was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder. On this occasion, while addressing the students, he appreciated the work done in village Gunachaur during the camp in the last few days and motivated the students to take maximum advantage of the opportunities provided by the NSS department so that the students can contribute to building a healthy society.
Dr. Bakshish Singh Ji encouraged the volunteers and made them pledge to keep their environment clean by giving priority to themselves and their surroundings and motivated them to continue such efforts as much as possible with good intentions. On this occasion, cultural presentations were also given by the students and Praveen, Gurpreet Singh, Rahul Sharma, Paramjit Singh, Amardeep Singh, Sukhneet Kaur shared their experiences. Program Officer Prof. Vipan ji presented the report of the camp.
Among the students who participated in the discussion during the entire camp, Hansvir, Rahul Sharma, Sukhneet Kaur were honored, while Siddharth, Kiran, Kritika were honored in the poster competition and Sukhmanvir Singh, Muskan and Samarthjit Singh were honored for the first, second and third place in the slogan competition. The Best Volunteer Award was given to Praveen Ral (boys) and Simran (girls). Gurpreet Singh and Michael were honored as the leading volunteers who led the entire camp, while Harman in music and Sukhman and Darpan in poetry were honored.
Program Officer Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur shared the experiences during the camp and also conducted the stage. At the end of the program, Prof. Vipan ji thanked all the people associated with the camp. Special attention was given to providing refreshments to the volunteers throughout the camp.
