Rajpura, January 2 – A kheer langar was organized by the New Press Club Rajpura at Shri Satya Prabhakar Chowk to mark the arrival of the New Year and the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, which was initiated under the leadership of Secretary Sudesh Taneja.
On this occasion, Rajpura MLA Neena Mittal, BJP constituency in-charge Jagdish Jagga, senior AAP leader Parveen Chhabra, Surjit Singh Garhi, Patel College Principal Raman Jain, AAP leaders Gagan Khurana Shanti, Rinku Kukreja, Sonu Kakkar, Sham Sundar Wadhwa and Vijay Monroe, Dinesh Mehta, MLA coordinator Ritesh Bansal, Lions president Ajay Chaudhary, president Sukhjinder Singh Sukhi, senior Congress leader Fakir Chand Bansal, former vice chairman of PEPSU Development Board Vinay Nirankari, social workers TL Joshi and Nitin Khurana, Street Vendors Union president Ramesh Babla, Rajinder Singh Chani and representatives of other organizations participated. 
On this occasion, President Prince Taneja said that every year the Press Club organizes a langar for the prosperity of the people on the arrival of the new year and this year a langar of kheer has been organized. On this occasion, BJP leaders Om Prakash and Ramesh Babla, BJP leaders Manmohan Mehta, Amit Arya, Ravi Ahuja, besides local journalists were present.
