Nawanshahr- Today Kirti Kisan Union held a meeting under the chairmanship of District President Surinder Singh Bains and State Committee Member Bhupinder Singh Waraich. It was decided to participate in large numbers in the Kisan Mahapanchayat being held in Moga on the call of Samyukta Kisan Morcha Punjab.
The BJP government of the Center and Punjab was strongly condemned for ignoring the demands of the farmers and not allowing them to go to Delhi and not talking to the farmers agitating at Shambhu and Khanauri borders. Concern was expressed in the meeting over the deteriorating health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal. The leaders said that instead of implementing the demands accepted during the Kisan Morcha, they have rubbed salt on the wounds of the farmers by bringing a proposal regarding agricultural markets. He said that all the three repealed laws are being brought back through the states.
He said that a befitting reply will be given to these moves of the Center. He said that an unprecedented rally will be held in Moga city to blow the bugle of struggle. District Secretary Tarsem Singh Bains, Surinder Singh Mehrampur, Paramjit Singh Sahabpur, Sohan Singh Rasoolpur, Surjit Kaur Utal, Manjit Kaur Alachaur, Bahadur Singh Dharamkot, Avtar Singh Skohpur, Jeevan Das Begowal, Major Singh Usmanpur, Jarnail Singh Kahma and other leaders were present in the meeting today.
