Complete information of tenants and servants will have to be given to the district and police administration

Nawanshahr- District Magistrate Rajesh Dhiman, exercising powers conferred under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code, 2023, has issued an order that if any person living in the jurisdiction of the District Municipal Council, Nagar Panchayats and Gram Panchayats keeps a tenant/servant/paying guest/Nepali langari in his house/hotel/restaurant, then he will have to inform about it within a week on [email protected] and [email protected].

Nawanshahr- District Magistrate Rajesh Dhiman, exercising powers conferred under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code, 2023, has issued an order that if any person living in the jurisdiction of the District Municipal Council, Nagar Panchayats and Gram Panchayats keeps a tenant/servant/paying guest/Nepali langari in his house/hotel/restaurant, then he will have to inform about it within a week on [email protected] and [email protected].
He said that the landlords who have not yet given information about the tenants to the police, should give information about the tenant (name, father's name, photo and Aadhar card) on the said e-mail within a week from the date of issuance of this order. He said that the tenants/servants/paying guests kept by the landlady are often drug addicts, have anti-social and criminal backgrounds and keep creating a ruckus in rented houses and public places.
Due to which there is a fear of law and order situation deteriorating, but the landlords do not register the information of these tenants with the police on time. The said order has been implemented to prevent such incidents. This order will remain in force till 24 February 2025.
