Nawanshahr - Mr. Rajeev Verma, PCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (J), Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar held a meeting in his office regarding the settlement of works related to Revenue Department. District Revenue Officer, Sabhas Nagar, Tehsildar Nawanshahr/Balachore/Banga, Naib Tehsildar Nawanshahr/Balachore, Banga, Aur, District System Manager and all Field Kanugus were present in this meeting. In the meeting Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajeev Verma, PCS reviewed the padding cases related to Surface Act. A total of 41 cases of Surface Act are pending, regarding which all the concerned officials/employees have been directed to take possession of the banks by the end of July 2024 in all cases coordinating with the concerned banks. In addition to the above, padding deposits, padding transfer, padding marks, Mera Ghar Mere Naam / Swamitwa Scheme CAG paragraphs, Tatima Sajra and text entries were discussed in detail in the meeting. The problem faced by the employees/officials in settling the pending works of the Revenue Department was also considered. The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed all the employees/officials to complete their respective padding works by 31st July 2024 in all circumstances so that the general public does not face any kind of difficulty.
