SAS Nagar Mohali- Last night, in a park near Madanpura Chowk in Mohali Phase 4, two youths named Karan and Shubham got into an argument over friendship with a girl and one of them shot the other youth, injuring Shubham. Currently, Shubham is being treated at Sector 32 Hospital in Chandigarh.
According to the information received, late on Wednesday night, Shubham was sitting with a female friend in a park in Phase 4. Meanwhile, a young man named Karan Sharma came to the park and started asking the girl why she was sitting with Shubham. The girl told Karan that she no longer has any relationship with him and she can go anywhere with anyone of her own free will. Meanwhile, another youth Shubham also asked Karan to leave from there. When Shubham asked Karan to leave, Karan and Shubham had a heated argument which turned into a scuffle.
Meanwhile, the girl pacified both of them and then the girl went out of the park with Shubham. Meanwhile, as soon as Shubham and the girl reached the gate of the park, Karan, who was following them, fired two bullets at Shubham. One bullet hit Shubham between his shoulders and he fell down while Karan fled from the spot. The police control room was informed about this incident and the PCR party which reached the spot admitted the injured Shubham to Phase 6 Civil Hospital.
Seeing Shubham's critical condition, the doctors referred him to Sector 32 hospital. According to the police, the pistol from which the shot was fired is licensed and it is being investigated in whose name the license of the said pistol is registered. Police have also found two shells from the spot which have been taken into custody. It is being told that the said girl was friends with Karan Sharma earlier but some time ago the said girl left Karan and became friends with Shubham. Only after this Karan was shocked that Karan committed the said incident on Wednesday night. In this regard, SP City Harveer Singh Atwal said that the police have registered a case against Karan Sharma under various sections and arrested him.
