Garhshankar, 25 December: As per the instructions of the Punjab Education Department, the students of Government High School Dagham organised an educational tour of Chandigarh. During this educational tour, the students enhanced their knowledge by visiting the Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh and visited Gurdwara Tibbi Sahib Ropar and Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Solakhian (Ropar).
The school students visited the Punjab Assembly with the support of the local MLA and Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy. During the educational tour organised under the leadership of school in-charge Hardeep Kumar, the students reached the Punjab Assembly and understood its functioning in detail and saw the construction and amazing art of this heritage building.
Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy provided special refreshments to the students. During the tour, the children had a lot of fun and also gained important information. During the tour, Master Hardeep Kumar was accompanied by teachers Jyotika Ladhar, Varinder Kaur, Anshu Rana and Jyoti Sharma.
