Hoshiarpur - Aam Aadmi Party candidates Rajeshwar Dayal Babbi and Narinder Kaur, who won from ward number 6 and 7 in the Municipal Corporation elections, received their certificates from Returning Officer Tehsildar Kulwant Singh today. While receiving the certificates from the Returning Officer, Councillor Rajeshwar Dayal Babbi and Councillor Narinder Kaur thanked the voters and said that apart from getting the development works of their wards done on priority basis, they will make every possible effort to get some problems resolved on time.
He said that by electing them, the voters have put their stamp on the unprecedented development being done by the Aam Aadmi Party government in the state and the public welfare policies of the party. He said that he will always be grateful to the voters and will live up to their expectations.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said on this occasion that he is heartily grateful to the voters for making the party candidates win and will always be dedicated to the service of the voters. He said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously taking pro-people decisions which are being widely appreciated by the people.
He said that in the name of development of people, Aam Aadmi Party is continuously winning one election after another and now in the Municipal elections also the party candidates have got full support. He said that Aam Aadmi Party government is fully committed for all-round development of Hoshiarpur under which many projects are being implemented and in the coming days large scale development will be done. On this occasion Mayor Surinder Kumar Shinda also congratulated the newly elected councillors.
