Hoshiarpur- On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, the team of Red Cross Society provided relief material to the fire-affected family in Falahi village. As soon as the information about the fire in the slums in Falahi village was received, the Red Cross team took immediate action and reached the spot and saw that the huts, clothes, household items, chickens, money, food items, all the documents of many families were burnt.
Due to which these families have suffered a lot. District Red Cross Society Secretary Mangesh Sood said that the employees of the society reached the spot and shared the grief with the fire-affected family and immediately distributed ration, hygiene kits, mattresses, sheets, blankets, soap, surf packets, tarpaulin, clothes and other items.
