Punjab government should not force general category people to struggle against the government: General Category Welfare Federation

SAS Nagar, February 28 - General Category Welfare Federation Punjab's state leaders Sukhbir Inder Singh, Ranjit Singh Sidhu, Jarnail Singh Brar, Kapil Dev Parasar, Jasvir Singh Garg, Dilbagh Singh, Mandeep Singh Randhawa, Aman Preet Singh and Surinder Singh Saini have alleged that the Punjab government is discriminating against the general category people.

SAS Nagar, February 28 - General Category Welfare Federation Punjab's state leaders Sukhbir Inder Singh, Ranjit Singh Sidhu, Jarnail Singh Brar, Kapil Dev Parasar, Jasvir Singh Garg, Dilbagh Singh, Mandeep Singh Randhawa, Aman Preet Singh and Surinder Singh Saini have alleged that the Punjab government is discriminating against the general category people.
In a statement issued here, the said leaders said that despite the passage of three years, the AAP government is delaying in appointing the chairman and staff of the commission formed during the Congress government for the welfare of the general category, while work is being done in the offices of the commissions of other categories without any hindrance.
He said that there is resentment among the general category due to the government not appointing the chairman of the General Category Commission, the loss of which the Aam Aadmi Party will have to bear during the Ludhiana by-election and the upcoming elections. The federation leaders have demanded that the Punjab government appoint the chairman and staff of the General Category Commission at the earliest.
