Patiala, December 18- District Patiala Youth Congress President Sanjeev Sharma Kalu will now remain in police custody till December 21. After being produced in the court today, he was given 3 more days of police remand. 
At the same time, Punjab Mahila Congress President Gursharan Kaur Randhawa has strongly condemned the arrest of Sanjeev Sharma Kalu. In a video message released, she has alleged that Sanjeev Sharma Kalu has been implicated in a false case.
She said that the nomination papers of Congress candidate from Ward No. 23 Rekha Rana were rejected under an alleged conspiracy, the nomination papers of Sanjeev Sharma Kalu's wife Neha Sharma (Ward No. 22) were not rejected. Rather her husband has been implicated in a false case. On this occasion, Punjab Youth Congress Vice President Harneet Kaur Brar was also present along with Gursharan Kaur Randhawa.
Neha Sharma is also holding a press conference tomorrow in which many senior Congress leaders are likely to attend.
