Hoshiarpur- Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar inaugurated the sewerage pipeline project in another step for the development of village Jaitpur. This project, to be completed at a cost of about Rs. 25 lakh, is important for the health and environmental improvements of the villagers and the establishment of proper sewage management.
On this occasion, the MLA also approved several other development projects for village Jaitpur. He also announced the release of Rs. 10 lakh for the construction of a crematorium, Rs. 5 lakh for a gym, Rs. 3 lakh for a dispensary, Rs. 2 lakh for a football club and Rs. 2 lakh for a SC crematorium.
Dr. Ishank Kumar said that he is working to ensure equal progress in every village of the constituency. He said, "It is my responsibility to take care of every village in the constituency. The responsibility given to me by the villagers. I am working day and night to fulfill it. The all-round development of the constituency is my priority."
Many villagers, including prominent people of the village, attended the event. Sarpanch Baljit Kaur, Sarabjit Singh Bhola, Jatinder Singh Raju, Joginder Pal, Harpal Singh, Kashmir Kaur, Paramjit Kaur, and Pavitra Kaur were present on the occasion. They highly appreciated the efforts of Dr. Ishank and hoped that this project will prove to be a boon for the better health of the people by keeping the village clean and reducing the risk of diseases. Sarpanch Baljit Kaur thanked MLA Dr. Ishank on behalf of the villagers, calling his efforts a memorable contribution to the development of the village.
Dr. Ishank Kumar, while addressing the audience, said that equipping every village of the constituency with modern facilities and carrying out all kinds of development works is his priority. He said that these projects being run in Jaitpur village will also bring further improvement in the education, health and sports sectors of the village.
