Patiala, December 12-  In view of the general elections and by-elections of Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayats to be held on December 21, in order to conduct the election process with complete fairness, transparency and smoothness, Observer Senior IAS and Special Secretary of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development Departments Harbir Singh today held a meeting with Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav and other officials.
Election Observer Harbir Singh said that the instructions and rules of the State Election Commission should be strictly followed to ensure that these elections are held freely, fairly and with complete transparency. He also inspected the strong room and BDPO built at the Government Polytechnic College to keep the EMMs after the elections. Office Sanaur visited. 
Election Observer Harbir Singh, while getting information about the sensitivity of the polling booths, instructed all the Returning Officers that the entire election process should be carried out smoothly in the Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats under their jurisdiction.
 Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav said that all the arrangements including security for polling, including rehearsals of the election staff, are complete.
