On this occasion, Press Club President Sukhdev Patwari and other office bearers including General Secretary Gurmeet Singh Shahi, Senior Vice President Sushil Garcha, Vice President Vijay Kumar, Finance Secretary Manjit Singh, veteran journalist Pal Singh Kansala, famous social worker Satnam Daun, along with Rajinder Singh Taggar were warmly welcomed.
Meanwhile, journalist Rajinder Singh Taggar said that the FIRs written against him are false and he will fight a legal battle. The Press Club agreed to support him in his fight. In the end, he said that whatever reasons or compulsions may have been behind those who registered and committed the biggest paper crime, they themselves know it.
