It may be mentioned that Sub Inspector Baljinder Singh Malhi has also served at Mahilpur Police Station under Garhshankar Police Sub Division. Talking to the media on this occasion, Sub Inspector Baljinder Singh Malhi said that the illegal mining activities going on in the village under Garhshankar police station will not be spared. And the drug dealers will not be spared at any cost and the cooperation of the common people is very important to get rid of the evil of drugs in the society. He appealed to the village panchayats of the area and said that the name and address of the person giving the information will be kept confidential to give full support to the police to make the villages drug free. He said that all possible efforts will be made to deal with the traffic problem in the city.
