Two players from the district won bronze medals in the Senior Men (D-20), 2 km event at the Dragon Boat World Championship Philippines.
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar December 02, 2024: ICF Dragon Boat World Championship which was held in the Philippines from October 28 to November 4. In which Mohali district players Manik Arora and Satnam Singh won the bronze medal in the Senior Men (D-20), 2 km event, was appreciated by Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Ashika Jain SAS Nagar. And it was said that soon a center for kayaking and canoeing will be set up in Mohali district as well.
