Child swallows poison after being mentally harassed by teacher at school

Rajpura: A seventh-grade student of Garden Valley International School in Manakpur village near Rajpura swallowed poison after being disturbed by the teachers' words. He is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU of Neelam Hospital. Sharing information about this, the father of the victim, Parvinder Singh, resident of village Urdan, said that his child, Diljot Singh, aged 12, is a seventh-grade student of Garden Valley School in Manakpur.

Sharing information about this, the father of the victim, Parvinder Singh, resident of village Urdan, said that his child, Diljot Singh, aged 12, is a seventh-grade student of Garden Valley School in Manakpur. He says that two days ago, our child had a fight with a child in the school itself. After which today he was mentally tortured by the school principal Harpreet Kaur and the school administrator Gurpreet Singh and said that a child like you should drown and die. After which the child got angry and swallowed the pesticide medicine left at home. The child's father, Parminder Singh, said that he had gone to Rajpura for some work. When he returned home, his child was standing outside the house and vomiting. The vomit smelled of mud and insecticide.
When the child was asked what he had eaten, he said that I was harassed from school today, I will not stay anymore. After which the father of the victim child called his neighbors and put him in his car and admitted him to Neelam Hospital near Banur. Seeing his condition as serious, the doctors admitted him to the ICU where the child is undergoing treatment.
When Banur Police Station Chief Inspector Gursewak Singh Sidhu was contacted about this, he said that he had received information from the hospital. The doctors at the hospital did not say that the child's condition was good and said that he could not give a statement. Banur Police Station Chief says that appropriate legal action will be taken on the child's statements.
