
Recent victory a symbol of people's trust, will continue to serve Punjab with dedication: Arora
Patiala, November 26: A grand Shukrana Yatra was taken out from Shri Kali Mata Mandir here to Amritsar today on the occasion of the foundation day of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In this yatra, the people of Punjab expressed their gratitude for the party's victory in the recent by-elections and the trust shown in the appointments of new leadership.
Patiala, November 26: A grand Shukrana Yatra was taken out from Shri Kali Mata Mandir here to Amritsar today on the occasion of the foundation day of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In this yatra, the people of Punjab expressed their gratitude for the party's victory in the recent by-elections and the trust shown in the appointments of new leadership.
The Shukrana Yatra was led by AAP Punjab President and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora. He was accompanied by AAP Punjab working president Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi, cabinet ministers Harpal Singh Cheema, Harjot Bains, Tarunpreet Singh Saundh, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, along with AAP MLAs, chairpersons and thousands of prominent party leaders and supporters. AAP Punjab president Aman Arora, while thanking the people, said that AAP is continuously getting stronger due to the dedication and hard work of its leaders, volunteers and workers and with the support of every AAP worker under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, this journey is a journey of honesty, transparency and commitment to the people.” Arora heartily congratulated all the AAP leaders and volunteers for their tireless efforts to bring about change and empower the common man. The yatra started at 9:00 AM from Shri Kali Mata Mandir and passed through several major towns and cities including Madhopur Chowk, Gobindgarh, Samrala, Doraha, Sahnewal, Jalandhar Bypass, Ladowal Chowk in Ludhiana, Phagwara, Jalandhar Kartarpur and Raya. The yatra ended at Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Durgiana Mandir and the holy Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Asthan and Ram Tirath Mandir in Amritsar.
Throughout the yatra, Aman Arora and other leaders were warmly welcomed with garlands, slogans of “Inquilab Zindabad” and overwhelming support from party workers and locals. Aman Arora expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Punjab and said, “Today is not only a day of celebration but also a confirmation of our commitment to the people of Punjab. The Shukrana Yatra is a reflection of the people’s trust in the Aam Aadmi Party and our leadership. It reminds us of the responsibility entrusted to us at every step. This journey is a promise to the people of Punjab that we will continue to work tirelessly to improve their lives. We are committed to bringing a brighter, more prosperous future to our state.”
AAP Punjab Working President Sherry Kalsi also addressed the gathering and thanked the people of Punjab for their continued support. She said that this Shukrana Yatra is a celebration of the trust reposed in us by the people. As a party, we are dedicated to fulfilling the promises made to the people and we will continue to work to improve the lives of every Punjabi. The victory in the by-elections is not just a victory for Aam Aadmi Party, but a victory for those who believe in our vision. We stand united and together we will work to make Punjab prosperous once again. Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saundh also addressed the gathering and thanked the people of Punjab for the overwhelming support. He said that the huge victory in the by-elections reflects the deep faith of the people in the governance of AAP. This Shukrana Yatra is a way for us to express our gratitude and reaffirm our commitment to the people. We will continue to work for the progress of Punjab. And we will ensure that the needs of every citizen are met and their voices are heard.”
